Match Report: Wolstanton United 3 v 2 AFC Crewe

A double from star striker Brandon Mighten wasn't enough for AFC Crewe as they fell to a 3-2 defeat to Wolstanton United. The memory of the opening-day win seems like a distant one already after two losses in a row.

Brandon's incredible bicycle kick gave us the lead on 20 minutes, a lead which we held going into the break thanks to a fairly dominant performance that saw us camped in the home side's half for the majority of the 45mins.

Unfortunately Wolstanton ate plenty of oranges at half-time and scored three second half goals on the spin, before Brandon's late second pulled it back to 3-2 from the penalty spot. That left the team with nothing to show for their efforts except for a steely determination to make amends next time out.
